Fidelity Check legal
Privacy Policy
Last updated: 30 July 2026
1. Who we are
Fidelity Check is operated by Zylendo Limited, a private limited company registered in England and Wales under company number 16628347, with its registered office at Dept 6187, 196 High Road, Wood Green, London, N22 8HH, United Kingdom. Zylendo Limited is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.
2. What we do: data aggregation
Fidelity Check operates as an aggregator of data. We collect, combine and analyse information from publicly accessible sources — such as public dating-app profiles and other openly available online information — together with the details you provide to us, in order to compile a single informational report. We do not access private accounts, private messages or password-protected content, and we do not notify or contact the person you search for.
3. Information you give us
- Your contact details — your name, email address and country, used to manage your order and deliver your report.
- Search details — information about the person you ask us to search for, such as their name, age, location and the photos you upload.
- Order information — the amount paid and a payment reference from our payment processor.
4. Information we aggregate from other sources
To prepare your report we search and aggregate publicly accessible information from third-party platforms and public sources. This may include profile names, ages, locations, photos, bios and activity indicators. We do not control these sources and cannot guarantee that the information they hold is accurate or up to date.
5. Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details are transmitted directly to Stripe and never reach or pass through our servers. Stripe processes your payment data in accordance with its own privacy policy, available at stripe.com/privacy.
6. Cookies and advertising
Our websites use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to measure the effectiveness of our advertising. The pixel records events such as page views, checkout starts and completed purchases, and may set cookies or use similar technologies. You can limit this tracking through your browser settings and through Meta’s advertising preferences.
7. Why we process personal data (lawful bases)
- Performance of a contract — processing your contact and order details, and the search details you provide, to deliver the Service you purchased.
- Legitimate interests — operating, securing and improving the Service, preventing fraud and abuse, and measuring our advertising.
- Consent — where required, for example for certain cookies or marketing technologies.
- Legal obligation — keeping records we are required to keep, such as accounting records.
8. Information about the person you search for
The search details you provide relate to another person. We process that information only to prepare your report, and we do not use it for marketing or sell it to anyone. By placing an order you confirm that you have a legitimate, personal reason for the search and that providing the details and photos is lawful. If you believe someone has asked us to search for you and you wish to exercise your data-protection rights, contact us using the details below.
9. Who we share personal data with
- Service providers — companies that host our websites and database and process payments on our behalf (including Stripe and our hosting providers), under contracts that protect your data.
- Advertising partners — Meta, for the advertising measurement described above.
- Analytics providers — Mixpanel, which processes usage events, the email address connected to an order, and recordings of how the Service is used — including information you type or upload while using it — to help us understand and improve the Service. Payment card details are never included.
- Authorities — where we are required to do so by law or to protect our legal rights.
We do not sell personal data.
10. International transfers
Some of our service providers are located outside the United Kingdom, including in the United States. Where personal data is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum and standard contractual clauses.
11. How long we keep personal data
We keep order and contact records for as long as needed to provide the Service, handle refunds and disputes, and meet our legal obligations. Search details and uploaded photos are kept only as long as necessary to prepare and deliver your report and are then deleted or anonymised within a reasonable period.
12. Your rights
Under UK data-protection law you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data; to restrict or object to our processing; and to data portability. You can exercise these rights by contacting us using the details below. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
